447演講室在6/01(二)全天持續發出嘖嘖驚嘆與歡笑之聲，這是老師和同學們，甚至在場外賓對2009-10級畢業生口頭成果發表所發自內心的共鳴之聲。

　　Applause and laughter emanated from the Lecture Hall throughout the day on June 1, 2010 as the audience delighted in students’ skillful displays of their wide knowledge and newly acquired Mandarin skills.

　　驚嘆來自於發表者超越了老師們預先所設定的高標，歡笑來自於學生發表內容的風趣、幽默。這意味著學生不但駕馭了目標語，甚至遊刃有餘，才能藉由語言形式操作人類高度智慧-幽默。

　　In particular the peals of laughter in response to the many humorous presentations showed our students ability to control their target language while skillfully making use of humanity’s “ultimate wisdom” – humor.

　　相同場景，同樣的時間段，一樣的教師團隊與行政團隊，在這四個常項下，唯一的變項是2009-10級全然不同的學生群。ICLP自1962年創所以來，每年不斷以事實驗證第二語言教學的成度成效。

　　Ever since 1962, this Chinese program was founded, our instruction and administration team has always been overwhelmed by our students’ progress in speaking, reading and writing their second-language.

　　9個月的時間不知不覺地就過去了，大大恭喜2009-10級畢業生達到學校所預期的教學目標，多數人甚至於遠超過預期目標。這一年來2009-10級畢業生為學習所受的苦都有了意義和回報，ICLP也以2009-10級畢業生驚人的學習成就引以為榮。

　　The nine-month academic year has flown by. On behalf of ICLP I want to congratulate all of our students, many of whom not only realized their objectives but exceeded any expectations they had about their improvement. All the toil and late nights have paid off.  ICLP is extremely proud to be sending a new class of Mandarin speakers back to their academic institutions or onto jobs with their powerful new language tools.
